A proper warm-up is essential for injury prevention, greater joint range of motion and a more productive workout. Try these moves before your next sweat session:
Foam roll – 5 minutes, or as needed
Cat-cow – 5 repetitions, with your breath
Bird dog – 5 on each side
Body weight squats and/or lunges -10 total
Push-up to side plank – 5 on each side
