Yoga for Weight Loss?

Looking for a way to relieve stress, improve fitness and help with weight loss? Yoga may be perfect for you! Here are some forms of yoga you might want to try:

Vinyasa focuses on breathing as you move in a flow from one pose to another. Vinyasa targets all muscle groups, helps gain lean body mass, relieves stress, helps you sleep better and aids in weight loss.

Hot Yoga utilizes the vinyasa style in 95-100 degree heat. The warmth of the room allows the participants to increase the range of motion in their joints and muscles, thereby helping with flexibility and maximizing the yoga experience.

Can’t make it to a class? Yoga at home is easy and a great alternative. There are many videos available online or as DVDs for purchase! Also check out our recent webinar Which Style of Yoga is Right for You in the AppleSlice library.
