ACI’s Bellamy Smith finding her own way to ascend the ‘fiscal’ cliff

As the deadline for the “fiscal cliff” looms, many Americans are growing increasingly worried about the effects that this situation will have on their personal finances.

According to a recently released Gallup poll, 64% of Americans fear that results of the fiscal cliff will negatively affect their financial situation, with even higher percentages for subgroups like parents with young children and lower-income households.

So what are people stressed about this situation to do?

Many of the intricacies of the fiscal cliff deal will not affect everyone, but it’s important to know how the proposed changes may affect an individual’s personal and family financial situation.  Solution: turn to the experts.

The ACI Specialty Benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an excellent resource with proven financial experts available to lend guidance and assistance in assessing what the ramifications could potentially be on each individual situation.  Let’s face it, finding the time to try to wade through the legal jargon and details of this bill is hard enough for Congress, so being able to get personalized information and advice is especially helpful. Furthermore, ACI’s clinicians are available to help people better manage feelings of stress, anger, anxiety, or other emotions during this time.

To contact the ACI Specialty Benefits EAP for financial consultation or clinical support, feel free to call (800) 932-0034 or email info@acieap.com.
